David Dellenback

Writer and Illustrator

David Dellenback was born in Oregon, in Northamerica; he has lived in San Agustín since the 1970´s. His studies have taken their own paths. While he found his way into the geography, history, sociology, etc. of the area, he began to register the statuary found in the area, with drawings accompanied by a registry of descriptions, measurements, historical whereabouts and so on. His studies of the Pueblo Escultor have been augmented by travels throughout America in search of sites of ancient stone sculpture, and by readings from the archaeological bibliography of America and the Macizo Colombiano.
